It is believed that hundreds of years ago, the revered Pambatti Siddhar rested here while journeying through this region, infusing the land with his vibrant spiritual energy. Following the principles of Agama Shastra, the temple’s 18 Siddha statues have been installed through Prana Prathishta at specific energy points, making the entire space a living field of divine vibration. Among its sanctified shrines stands the image of Sage Kaushika, adding to the temple’s spiritual depth. The presiding deity ATHMA LINGA, radiates the grace and power of Shiva, while Goddess Nagadevi embodies purity and protection.
Two sacred ponds within the temple grounds are believed to hold healing and cleansing properties. An Annadhana Koodam has been established to serve meals and provide shelter to Shiva devotees, continuing the age-old tradition of service and compassion.
